Karoline Leavitt is the youngest White House press secretary in history.
The 27-year-old recently became a mother for the first time after giving birth to a baby boy in July, right in the middle of the madness as Trump was campaigning for the presidency.
In fact, the new mom forgoed maternity leave altogether, returning to work just days after she gave birth. "I want my son to grow up in a free and patriotic America that we can be proud of," she once said.
When it comes to motherhood, she has spoken about how becoming a mom changed her life, and how her husband Nicholas Riccio, who is 32 years her senior, has been by her side throughout the journey.

The press secretary announced her baby's arrival on Instagram, writing: "It's true when they say there's nothing comparable to the love you feel for your child. My heart has grown bigger than I ever imagined possible. Babies are the ultimate blessing and I’m bursting with gratitude for our beautiful, happy, healthy boy."
When it comes to balancing motherhood with her role as press secretary, the New Hampshire native told the Post: "Being a mom helps me to be better at my job. It gives me a great perspective on life and allows me to remember that not every bad day is the end of the world because my greater purpose is being a mom."
In December, Karoline responded to an Instagram follower who asked: 'Do you worry about the demands of the job and missing out on moments with your son?'
She replied, "I literally pray about this everyday. It's very difficult but it's also all I know. I went back to work just days after giving birth. I have learned to multitask and prioritize my time."
In an interview with The Conservateur, the young mom said: "Your brain will learn to move in ways that you never thought possible and you learn to be a master at multitasking."
She continued: "I have legitimately done my makeup, while nursing my baby, while talking on the phone prepping for my T.V. hit all at the same time."
At the end of the day, Karoline's views on motherhood are about balance and building a legacy for her child through her work. "My hope in all this is, when I tell Niko one day all that I did when he was in my belly and around the time he was born, he’ll be proud of his mom."
