Tina Knowles just came clean about her bombshell affair that managed to infuriate both of her daughters Beyoncé and Solange.
It all began in November 2009 when the 71-year-old grandmother-of-six discovered that her husband Mathew Knowles impregnated his mistress Alexsandra Wright with his now 15-year-old son Nixon, and she filed for divorce.
'In the aftermath of that explosion, I kept pace with my life, as I had now for years, sticking to my routine and allowing work to numb and carry me,' Tina wrote in her memoir Matriarch, which hit shelves Tuesday.
The 73-year-old former Destiny's Child manager visited Knowles in New York City a few months later and surprisingly 'presented himself for me to hold on to in my disorientation.'

'He'd changed after new counseling,' the Texan native recalled in her 432-page tell-all.
'I didn't believe him, but he was persistent, proved he'd gotten help, and as he courted me, I found myself falling in love again. The magnetic pull between us, this cosmic cord I had tried to cut so many times, was stronger than ever.'

Tina said their 'bond seemed stronger because we were sneaking' but they 'knew the kids would be so mad at us if they found out we were together again.'
A couple of months later, Knowles decided to tell the 43-year-old pop diva and the 38-year-old R&B songstress about the affair when they surprised her in Galveston on Mother's Day.
The Cécred vice chairperson remembered that while Beyoncé 'nodded solemnly' Solange 'exploded' at her for ignoring Mathew's betrayal.
'Beyoncé was more understanding than Solange, who I know was just being protective of me,' Tina (born Celestine Ann Beyoncé) wrote in the Oprah's Book Club pick.
'They each loved their dad in different ways, and I sometimes felt my youngest was so much like her dad that she felt his moments of failing on a soul-deep level.'
Just four years later, the hot-tempered Grammy winner made headlines when TMZ leaked a video of her violently attacking her philandering brother-in-law Jay-Z inside an elevator at The Standard in Manhattan, but they've since reconciled.
In July 2010, Mathew welcomed his now 14-year-old daughter Koi with second mistress TaQoya Branscomb, which prompted Knowles to file for divorce a second time that was finalized in 2011.

'I clearly knew my relationship with Mathew was unhealthy, and it was the fear of going it alone that kept me stuck,' the BeyGOOD chairwoman admitted.
Tina moved on with Poltergeist alum Richard Lawson, but they settled their divorce last August after eight years of marriage.
Meanwhile, the APX Capital Group board of director and his second wife Gena Charmaine Avery will celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary on June 30.
Knowles is scheduled to kick off her nine-date Matriarch book tour on April 30 in Washington, DC with former FLOTUS Michelle Obama moderating the Q&A.
